Japan's Hayashi To Attend G20 Foreign Ministers Meeting In Bali

Japanese Foreign Minister Hayashi Yoshimasa is to visit the Indonesian island of Bali for two days from Thursday to attend a foreign ministers meeting of the Group of 20 economies.
The meeting is the first since Russia invaded Ukraine.
Ministers will exchange views on the global food crisis and rising energy prices among other topics.
Hayashi plans to argue that Russia's aggression is a clear violation of international laws. He will stress the importance of the rule of law, as well as sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Hayashi will also explain Japan's aid efforts, such as food assistance to Ukraine and developing countries.
Arrangements are being made for a three-way meeting with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and South Korean Foreign Minister Park Jin on Friday.
Hayashi wants to confirm cooperation among the three countries on a range of issues, including North Korea's nuclear and missile development.
