Jill Biden May Visit Tokyo Games

US President Joe Biden has indicated that his wife may visit Japan for the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Biden was asked by reporters on Tuesday whether First Lady Jill Biden will go to Tokyo.
He said, "we are trying to work that out now. That's the plan."
The White House said the previous day that the president is not planning to attend the Tokyo Games, but a US delegation will be dispatched as before.
In 2018, then-Vice President Mike Pence led the US delegation to the PyeongChang Winter Games in South Korea and attended the opening ceremony.
