Ohtani Named Al Player Of The Week

In Major League Baseball, Japanese two-way player Ohtani Shohei of the Los Angeles Angels has been named the American League Player of the Week for the third time.
He hit six home runs in seven games while posting a .296 batting average. He also drove in nine runs.
As a pitcher, Ohtani started one game. He went six innings, recorded five strikeouts and gave up one run, earning his third win of the season.
Ohtani previously won the award in April and September of 2018, his first year in the majors.
