Osaka Confirms A Record 1,208 New Cases

The Osaka Prefectural Government says it confirmed 1,208 new cases of the coronavirus on Thursday.

This is the highest daily tally of COVID-19 infections to be reported in Osaka.

For the third day in a row, the daily total in Osaka has exceeded 1,000.

Recently, Osaka has been reporting more new cases than any other prefecture in the country, including Tokyo.
