Searchers May Have Found Missing Tour Boat

Japan's Maritime-Self Defense Force has reportedly found what appears to be the missing tour boat on the seabed off the Shiretoko Peninsula in Hokkaido, northern Japan.
The boat, "KAZU I," carrying 24 passengers and two crew members, went missing off the Hokkaido coast on Saturday.
Sources said an undersea camera on an MSDF vessel captured images on Friday morning of what appears to be a boat at a depth of about 100 meters in the waters near a local scenic waterfall. The captain of the boat reported that it had passed the area of the waterfall before it went missing.
The sources said the letters of "Z," "U" and "I" were seen painted on the object.
The Japan Coast Guard is working to confirm whether the discovered object is the missing boat.
