Snowstorms Approaching Wide Areas Of Japan
Weather officials in Japan say a rapidly developing low-pressure system may bring snowstorms to wide areas of the country on Friday.
Meteorological Agency officials say the system is over the Sea of Japan and moving east.
They say it may bring snowstorms to coastal areas from southern through northern Japan.
The officials say the snow may cause very poor visibility in some areas.
They are also warning of strong winds and high waves, as well as avalanches and power outages.
