Tanaka Participates In Spring Training
Former major league pitcher Tanaka Masahiro is taking part in his former Japanese team's spring training camp.
Tanaka has returned to the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles, 8 years after he led the squad to its first title.
The star says it's exciting to train together with his teammates and wear the team's uniform again.
Tanaka adds, "I'm now a veteran player on the team, and I have a lot of experience that I can share. So, please don't hesitate to ask me anything. Thank you."
The ace appeared relaxed. His training regimen for the next four days will be different from the other players'.
Tanaka comments, "I really want to prepare during these camp training sessions, so I can pitch well this season."
He is scheduled to throw in the bullpen on Sunday.
