Tokyo Confirms 510 New Covid - 19 Cases

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government says it confirmed 510 new cases of the coronavirus in the capital on Tuesday.

The daily count surpassed 500 for the first time since Saturday.

The figure was up by 111 cases from a week earlier and posted a week-on-week increase for the 13th straight day.

The cumulative number for the capital now stands at 126,794.
