Tokyo Reports 1,681 New Cases Of Coronavirus

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government reported 1,681 new cases of the coronavirus in the capital on Saturday, 155 more than a week ago.

It also reported four deaths.

The seven-day average through Saturday stands at 1,592.1, down 1.7 percent from last Saturday.

Tokyo had no COVID-19 patients listed in serious condition on Saturday, the same as the previous day.

A total of 14,837 new cases and 20 deaths were reported across Japan on Saturday.
