Tokyo Reports 23,129 New Cases Of Coronavirus On Thursday

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government reported 23,129 new cases of the coronavirus on Thursday.

The daily tally for the capital is down about 4,300 from a week ago.

Tokyo officials said 26 people died from the virus.

They also said the number of patients on ventilators or ECMO heart-lung machines was 38, up two from Wednesday.
