Tokyo Reports 266 Coronavirus Cases On Monday
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government confirmed 266 new cases of the coronavirus in the capital on Monday.
The daily tally has remained under 500 for nine days in a row, and it's the first time the figure has fallen below 300 since last Monday.
A total of 106,771 people have tested positive for the virus in Tokyo since the pandemic began.
Officials say 97 patients are in serious condition, and it's the first time the number has dropped below 100 since January 2.
