Tokyo Reports 7,750 New Cases Of Coronavirus On Sunday

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government reported 7,750 new cases of coronavirus infection on Sunday.

The number was down nearly 1,900 from a week earlier. The daily tally in the capital has fallen week-on-week for 21 straight days.

Tokyo officials said 24 people infected with the virus died. They also said 32 patients were on ventilators or ECMO heart-lung machines, up two from Saturday.
