Tokyo's Haneda Airport Opens Testing Centers
Coronavirus testing centers are set to open at Tokyo's Haneda Airport.
The labs will offer PCR and antigen tests for passengers. Results of the antigen tests can be ready in as little as 15 minutes.
Passengers with a negative result can get a certificate. People who test positive could be transferred to a medical institution arranged by the testing facilities.
The testing centers will open at the airport's terminal 1 and 2 on Saturday.
Japan Airport Terminal official Tokutake Daisuke said "More and more companies want their employees tested before business trips. We hope people can travel with peace of mind after getting tested."
Japan's airlines plan to add domestic flights next month, when demand is expected to begin its recovery.
