Two Unfinished Handmade Guns Found At Home Of Abe's Suspected Shooter

Sources close to the investigation into the fatal shooting of former Japanese Prime Minister Abe Shinzo say two unfinished handmade guns have been confiscated from the suspect's home.
A 41-year-old unemployed resident of Nara City, Yamagami Tetsuya, was arrested at the scene of Friday's shooting. Police have been investigating on suspicion of murder.
Investigators have so far found five guns made with pipes and tape at Yamagami's home. The guns were similar to the one used in the shooting, which had two steel pipes taped together. The investigators have reportedly also found two more firearms, which each had at least three pipes taped together.
This suggests that Yamagami was trying to make an even more lethal weapon, or preparing multiple guns to suit the conditions at the location where he planned to carry out his attack.
