A judge has confirmed Nintendo's court victory over a go-kart company that did Mario Kart-themed tours on the streets of Tokyo, Engadget Japan reports. Early this, year, MariCar (now branded as Street Kart) was ordered to pay Nintendo $50 million yen ($483,000) for violating its IP rights. The company appealed, but Japan's Supreme Court dismissed it, upholding Nintendo's earlier win.

Nintendo first sued Mari Mobility, aka MariCar, back in 2017. Other companies offered similar tours, but MariCar's IP breach was particularly noticeable because it let drivers dress up as Mario Kart characters. Nintendo also felt its name could be sullied by safety issues, which proved to be a valid concern after several accidents.

A survivor of the 1945 atomic bombing of Hiroshima has given an online lecture on her experience to tour guides at UN facilities around the world.

Kajimoto Yoshiko spoke on Thursday, Japan time, at an event organized by the Hiroshima Peace Culture Foundation. Her audience included tour guides from UN facilities in New York and Geneva.

A luxury sightseeing train has begun its first tour of Hokkaido, northern Japan.

The Royal Express, jointly operated by Hokkaido Railway Company and Tokyu Corporation, is making three tours of the island in August and September.

V6 have revealed the footage for their live tour 'LIVE TOUR 2017 The ONES' via YouTube for a limited time.

'LIVE TOUR 2017 The ONES' was held back in 2017 hosting a total of 21 shows. In March of 2018, the footage was released on DVD and Blu-ray. Beside the concert itself, you can also watch a documentary of the tour.

[Alexandros] will hold a live house tour called 'Where's My Tomato? Tour' from June. 

This announcement was made on March 18 during a live broadcast. The upcoming tour is scheduled to kick off on June 24 at KT Zepp Yokohama and will wrap up on August 15 Zepp Haneda for a total of 14 shows at 7 venues. The full schedule can be seen below the cut. 

It's been announced that Aimer will hold a nationwide acoustic tour from September.

Aimer just wrapped up her nationwide tour 'Aimer Hall Tour 19/20: rouge de bleu' on February 23 at Tokyo International Forum. The upcoming tour is scheduled to kick off on September 4 at Misato-shi Bunka Kaikan in Saitama and end on November 26 and 27 at Christ Shinagawa Church in Tokyo. 

Kamenashi Kazuya (KAT-TUN) and Yamashita Tomohisa's unit Kame to YamaP will hold a dome tour in early summer.

Kamenashi and Yamashita temporarily formed the unit Shoji to Akira to sing the theme song "Seishun Amigo" for their 2005 drama 'Nobuta wo Produce.' Then in 2017, they sang the theme song "Senakagoshi no Chance" for their drama 'Boku, Unmei no Hito desu.' as Kame to YamaP.

Nishikido Ryo will release footage from his first solo tour 'Nishikido Ryo LIVE TOUR 2019: NOMAD' on April 15. 

The DVD and Blu-ray will feature the tour finale held on December 19 at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA. The Limited Edition will come with the Toyosu PIT concert as additional footage, while the Regular Edition will come with a CD containing behind-the-scenes footage. Finally, the WIZY Edition will include footage from his album release event and a 100-page photo book. 

NIGHTMARE will hold a live tour called 'NIGHTMARE TOUR 2020' from May to July.

After a three year hiatus, NIGHTMARE resumed their activities on February 11 with a concert at Yokohama Arena. For their upcoming tour, they are scheduled to hold a total of 13 shows. Ticket pre-reservations will be available via the band's official fan club, mobile site, and official website until February 25.

Snow Man have revealed the schedule for their Asia tour 'Snow Man ASIA TOUR 2D.2D.'

Last August, Snow Man announced their CD debut as well as an Asia tour. At this time, they have revealed the dates for the Japan segment of the tour, which includes a total of 14 shows. Besides Japan, they are planning on performing in Bangkok, Singapore, Jakarta, and Taipei.

It's been revealed that SCANDAL will hold their first North American tour in 2 years. 

SCANDAL are set to release their new album "Kiss from the darkness" from their private label 'her' on February 12. The North American tour will be a part of their world tour that will be held to commemorate the album's release. At this time, four locations have been announced including California, Texas, Georgia, and Toronto.
