Kurihara Rui & Ayaka Wilson star in DEAN FUJIOKA's PV for 'Maybe Tomorrow'

The PV for DEAN FUJIOKA's new song "Maybe Tomorrow" has been uploaded onto YouTube. 

"Maybe Tomorrow" can be found in DEAN's latest album "History In The Making", which was released on January 30. It was written as the theme song for TV Asahi's drama 'Boku no Hatsukoi wo Kimi ni Sasagu.' The PV stars Kurihara Rui and Ayaka Wilson as a young couple in love. As if he's watching over the two, DEAN sings at a church and a steep cliff. The PV was directed by film director Ninomiya Ken who also directed the PV for "History Maker" revealed earlier this month.

Ayaka provides theme song for movie 'Ningyo no Nemuru Ie'

Ayaka's new song "Aikotoba" has been picked up as the theme song for the movie 'Ningyo no Nemuru Ie' that's scheduled to open in theaters on November 16. 

'Ningyo no Nemuru Ie' is a human mystery based on a novel by Higashino Keigo. Shinohara Ryoko plays the mother of a young girl who becomes brain dead after drowning in a pool. Her husband is played by Nishijima Hidetoshi.

The title and details of Ayaka's first album in over three years have been announced.

Ayaka's upcoming album will be titled "30 y/o," and it will be released on November 14. The title represents the singer's age. She explained, "It's up to myself in the end. You only live once. As a 30-year-old, I want to confidently live my life while being proud of my decisions."

Ayaka and KREVA's collaboration song "Glory" will be digitally released on August 31. 

This song was performed just once at KREVA's event '908 FESTIVAL 2017' held last September. At the time, Ayaka was thrilled to be invited to perform at KREVA's event, and as such, she wanted to do something that would make the crowd happy. She made a demo of "Glory" while imagining that she was singing together with KREVA. After receiving the demo, KREVA wrote the lyrics and arranged the song.

Former NMB48 member Umeda Ayaka has become an instructor at Hokkaido High School of Arts, Yokohama Satellite Campus. 

On May 8, Umeda announced on Twitter, "I have become the instructor of performance for the dance & vocal course at the Yokohama Satellite Campus of Hokkaido High School of Arts. I start tomorrow. It's the first class in my life! And I'm a teacher!! I am nervous, but I will do my best!"

ANGERME's Wada Ayaka to graduate in 2019 spring

It's been announced that Wada Ayaka will graduate from both ANGERME and Hello! Project in spring of 2019. She is the last original member to graduate from the group. 

Wada made the announcement on April 5 via her blog explaining that graduation was in talks since 2017. She stated, "I thought over and over, 'Will I be able to continue chasing after the same dream with everyone?' That thought and the present were complexly intertwined within me." Wada had always put her group activities first, but she revealed that the second generations members told her to do what she wanted to do.

The short PV for Ayaka and Miura Daichi's collaboration song "Heart Up" has been uploaded onto YouTube. 

"Heart Up" will be released as Ayaka and Miura's single on February 14. It was written and composed by Ayaka and arranged and produced by Kobayashi Takeshi. It's currently being used as the CM song Tokyo Metro's "Find my Tokyo." You can find its full version in the single's DVD.

Ayaka has announced the release of her new single "Sakura."

Ayaka is currently in the middle of her live tour "Acoustic Live Tour 2017-2018 ~3-STAR RAW~", which kicked off back in April. She has been sharing "Sakura" with her fans since the very first show. It's a graduation song about the feelings of parents when their children leave the nest. Many fans wanted the song to be released, and Ayaka acted right away as it will be available for purchase at her concerts starting on October 14 at Aubade Hall in Toyama. The CD can also be purchased via the singer's fan club site.

As previously reported, the song was written as the theme song for NHK's drama "Tsubaki Bunguten ~ Kamakura Daishoya Monogatari~". The medium tempo number has the theme "letter" and reflects "hearts that are linked together through words."

The title track was formed as the mark tune for NHK's sensation "Tsubaki Bunguten ~ Kamakura Daishoya Monogatari~" which will make a big appearance on April 14. It's a medium cadence number with the subject "letter" that reflects "hearts that are associated together through words." It will be released in two sorts (CD+DVD, CD-Only), and the DVD will contain the PV and making video for "Kotonoha".
