Panasonic's HomeHawk Floor Is A Security Camera Disguised As Lamp

Most of the time, you can actually see the security cameras around you – unless someone wants to have a discrete camera hidden somewhere.

A discrete setup may not be convenient enough and land you in legal trouble later. However, if you want to have a discrete security camera at your home that blends in as a decor item, it would be a great choice to have.

Panasonic's Latest Mirrorless Camera Can Shoot Videos In 6k

Panasonic's Latest Mirrorless Camera Can Shoot Videos In 6K

Last year hot on the heels of Nikon and Canon announcing their own full-frame mirrorless cameras, Panasonic decided to hop on board as well with their new Panasonic Lumix S-series of cameras. Now it looks like the company is back with their latest offering in the form of the Panasonic Lumix S1H.

It is clear that the S1H is being aimed more towards videographers. This is because the camera is capable at recording at 6K resolution. It does have a bit of an odd aspect ratio of 3:2, but for those who want something more standard, it can also record at 5.9K at 16:9 at 30fps. Exactly how many of us would need to shoot in 6K, let alone watch videos in 6K, are probably not that many.

Panasonic's GZ2000 Is The 'World's Most Cinematic TV'

#CES2019 – At CES 2019 we’ve seen quite a number of interesting TVs from your usual suspects, such as LG who announced that their rollable TV will be launching this year, and Samsung who took the wraps off a monstrous 98-inch 8K QLED TV. Now it looks like Panasonic has some TV announcements of its own in the form of the GZ2000.

Now the GZ2000 is not the biggest TV announced at CES and is offered at 55-inch and 65-inch models. It doesn’t feature a flexible/rollable display either. It also seems to be using OLED versus other companies who are pushing QLED. However this is a TV that Panasonic is calling the “world’s most cinematic TV” thanks to Panasonic’s work with Stefan Sonnenfeld, a leading colorist who has worked with many filmmakers in the past.

It works once it’s plugged in and the bottom nodes are placed into the shoes that need their odor removed. It then eliminates odors by basically bombarding the shoes with highly charged ions which penetrate through the material and dissolve particles to eliminate the bad smells.

If there is a "problem" with many a smartphone these days is that most of them are starting to feature batteries that cannot be swapped out or replaced easily. This means that if your phone's battery is depleted, you can't just swap in a fresh one. However Panasonic has decided to keep that feature around with its new Android Toughbooks.

Coming in the form of the Toughbook T1 and the Toughbook L1 (the former is a 5-inch smartphone and the latter a 7-inch tablet), one of the key features of either device is the fact that its batteries are "warm swappable". This means that users will be able to swap out the batteries on either device without having to reboot it.

[CEATEC 2017] If you're trying to go on a diet, whether it is to gain muscle or to lose fat, taking into account the calories you take is essential. There are apps out there that help you keep track, and for the most part most food makers offer up the amount of calories that comes in a serving of whatever you are eating.

However sometimes it isn't always 100% accurate, plus just because you ate a burger at one restaurant doesn't mean that a burger at another restaurant is of similar caloric value. However the folks at Panasonic want to take the guesswork out of calorie tracking and have unveiled a system called the CaloRieco at CEATEC 2017.
