Officials from Kyoto Animation say they have found data of some original anime images on a computer server that survived the deadly arson attack on its studio.

The animation studio lost a lot of material, including original stills of popular anime works that were drawn on paper, in the July 18 fire that killed 35 people.

The game did well when it came out and now, Nintendo Switch owners will soon be able to experience it on their consoles as well. It has been confirmed that the original Devil May Cry game will be released for the Nintendo Switch this summer.

Since Devil May Cry hasn’t been available on the Nintendo platform before, it’s no surprise that it will arrive on the Switch first. The announcement was made over Twitter through the game’s official account.

HY recently kicked off their 47-Precture tour on September 22 at Ginowan Kaihin Kouen Outdoor Theater in Okinawa. It's been announced that the finale will be held on March 23 at Okinawa Convention Center. 

March 23 marks the anniversary that the band held their first one-man live at Ginowan Kaihin Kouen Outdoor Theater back in 2002. Their six-month long tour started and will end in their hometown of Okinawa.

The original Onimusha title, called Onimusha: Warlords back in the day, is being brought back. Capcom has confirmed that it’s going to release this PlayStation 2 classic not only on the PlayStation 4 but also the Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. The re-release of this title has been scheduled for next year.

It has been 17 years since Onimusha: Warlords was first released for the PlayStation 2. The title sold more than two million copies worldwide on the PlayStation 2. The game is set in feudal Japan after the perceived death of the evil lord Nobunaga Oda. It follows through the story of the samurai Samanosuke Akechi and ninja Kaede who are on a mission to save Princess Yuki.

Utada Hikaru has announced the release of her seventh original album "Hatsukoi" on June 27. 

This album comes a year and nine months since "Fantome" was released in September of 2016. It will contain a total of 12 songs including "Oozora de Dakishimete," "Forevermore," "Anata," "Chikai," and "Hatsukoi," as well as "Play A Love Song," which was digitally released on April 25.

While each Final Fantasy release is popular and beloved in its own right, it's hard to deny in the entire franchise, Final Fantasy 7 has managed to stand out on its own where its characters are some of the more identifiable characters from the series. So much so that it made sense that Square Enix would want to remake it.

However remaking it would definitely be a tall order given how many gamers loved the original, but the company is definitely that the remake will surpass it. According to a recent job listing (via Gematsu), it mentions that the goal they have for the remake is that it could be even good enough to surpass the original.
