The Sony Xperia XZs has received a minor update recently, which moved the build number from 41.3.A.2.234 to version 41.3.A.2.239. The only change that we can see with the latest update is the addition of 1 April 2019 Android security patches. We are probably coming towards the end of software support for the Xperia XZs, so it will be interesting to see how many more security patches Sony has in store for the XZs.
Imaging specialists DxOMark have finally put the Sony Xperia XZ3 camera through its paces, giving the phone a score of 79 overall. For context, this is below that achieved by the Xperia XZ Premium (83), and above that of the Xperia XA2 Ultra (75). It is the same score achieved by the budget Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018).

HMD Global launched the Nokia 5 back in 2017. The affordable device was well received as it had decent specs for its price segment. The handset launched with Nougat on board and has since been updated to Android 8.0 and Android 8.1 Oreo. It’s now receiving the Android 9 Pie update. This will most likely be the last major Android platform update for this device.
Juho Sarvikas, HMD Global’s Chief Product Officer, confirmed on Twitter today that the company has started rolling out the Android 9 Pie update for the Nokia 5 (2017). The update is rolling out over-the-air so it may take a couple of days before it becomes available for everyone.
Kawamura Ryuichi has revealed that he received surgery on January 11 to remove cancer in his lungs.
On his blog, he wrote, "I received surgery on January 11 to remove cancer in my lungs which they found a little while ago. After surgery, I have been recovering well. This surgery was a partial excision... so there won't be a change in my lung capacity!! It's something that bothers me most as a vocalist... It was a small cancer, so I won't have to receive radiation treatment or take anticancer drugs."

Utada Hikaru will be in charge of the image song for the TBS drama 'Hana Nochi Hare ~HanaDan Next Season~', which premieres on April 17.
The last time Utada had a tie-up with the 'HanaDan' series was about 11 years ago when she provided "Flavor Of Life -Ballad Version-" as the image song for 'Hanayori Dango 2 (Returns)' in 2007. Utada, who is a fan of the original manga, received an offer from program producer Setoguchi Katsuaki and wrote a brand new song for the drama.
Sony Mobile has released a new firmware update for its new mid-rangers, the Xperia XA2 and XA2 Ultra, which moves the build number from 50.1.A.4.102 to version 50.1.A.5.59. The update adds the 1 March 2018 Android security patch (it was on 1 January 2018 patches before). NGT48's new song "Haru wa Dokokara Kuru no ka?" has received TV tie-ups.
"Haru wa Dokokara Kuru no ka?" is the title track to the group's third single to be released on April 11. Twenty four members have been selected in the senbatsu with Honda Hinata as center. The song will serve as the April opening theme for NTV's 'Buzz Rhythm 02' and the April ending theme for Tulip TV's 'Kitoqun ▽ Traveler with T.'
Sony Mobile has released a new firmware update for the Xperia XZ Premium, moving the build number from 47.1.A.12.34 to version 47.1.A.12.75. This Android 8.0.0 update includes the 1 February 2018 Android security patches, which means that the handset is now patched with fixes for the ‘Meltdown' and ‘Spectre' CPU vulnerabilities.
