Thanks to the Nintendo Switch’s hardware, it is actually sort of based on NVIDIA’s Tegra SHIELD tablets, which means that it can technically run on Android. This is why it wasn’t surprising to see some modders port Android to the console, and just last week, it was reported that an Android ROM for the Switch is in the works that could also be released soon.
If you have been looking forward to this, then you’ll be pleased to learn that over at the XDA forums, the unofficial Android ROM for the Switch has been released. This is a version of Android based on LineageOS 15.1, which in turn is based on Android 8.1 Oreo, so it is a relatively up to date version of Android.
Despite Google being so easy and straightforward to use, people still like to ask questions that they can easily Google the answer for, but we get it, sometimes older users might not be familiar with the process and the good news is that Google is testing out a way for users to easily share their searches.
This new share feature seems to be part of a recent update to Google beta app on Android, where as you can see in the screenshot above, there is a new Share button. This means that users can tap on it and share it with other people via messages, email, and so on. Prior to this, users could share search by copying the URL.

Most of us have used the YouTube app on our phones. One of the ways to view the comments on our phones is by scrolling all the way down. This isn’t the most convenient way of viewing comments, but according to a report from XDA Developers, it appears that the company is testing out a new way of displaying comments on the Android app.

Mario Kart Tour will be the next title that Nintendo will be releasing on mobile. The game is currently pegged for a release this summer and the beta of the game has already kicked off over in Japan. Android Auto users are in for a treat as Google just unveiled a complete overhaul of the interface. We can safely say it looks a whole lot better than the current system, and we're excited to try it out.
To begin, there's a new launcher. Instead of the five buttons along the bottom, now there's an array of apps to choose from in a vertically scrolling interface. This looks a whole lot more like the app drawer on your actual phone, and should make choosing your desired navigation or audio app much more intuitive. The launcher looks more like Apple CarPlay, but scrolls vertically instead of sliding from page to page horizontally.
On sale since the 2008 model year and facelifted twice in the interim, the Toyota Land Cruiser has lately begun rolling out the special editions. Last year we got the 2019 Lexus LX Inspiration, this year we got the 2020 Land Cruiser Heritage Edition. This likely means a changing of the model guard is close, the 300-Series Land Cruiser on the horizon to replace the current 200-Series. When Motor Authority asked Toyota SVP Bill Fay about the U.S. getting the next generation, Fay replied, "We are fully committed to the Land Cruiser for the foreseeable future."
The reason for the question could have been Land Cruiser sales figures for the past 14 years, when the model never cleared 5,000 units. The swankier Lexus LX sibling sells in greater numbers, but even lumping the two trucks, they've crested 10,000 sales just twice since 2005. On top of that, two of the largest regional markets for the Land Cruiser are Australia and the Middle East, which have different regulatory regimes, and the 2019 Highlander has a three-row option.
Update: We got wind of what Mazda had in store for the 2019 Mazda 6 in this report from last week, and now we have all the official information from Mazda. The news on the manual transmission's disappearance is still true — 2018 model year cars will be the last ones that make that an option. There are a few changes Mazda has implemented for this model year, and a slight price adjustment that goes with.
The addition of Mazda's i-Activsense safety tech as standard is confirmed. As is G-Vectoring Control Plus, the next generation of Mazda's G-Vectoring we saw hit the CX-5 for the 2019 model year. Pricing has been adjusted to reflect the extra standard equipment and elimination of the manual transmission. A base (manual) 2018 Mazda 6 Sport costs $22,845 with its $895 destination fee, but the new 2019 model begins at $24,720 with the $920 destination fee included. That's a considerable increase, but the charge for an automatic transmission was $1,050 of that previously. Higher trim levels don't experience as much of a hike. For example, the maxed-out Signature is only $375 more expensive in 2019, coming in at $36,020 total. Mazda says the 2019 Mazda 6 goes on sale this month. It's a little surprising that 2019 model year Mazda 6s weren't already on sale, but mid-year updates or late introductions aren't exactly out of the norm for Mazda.
The Nissan Versa Note hatchback might be playing its swan song as we speak. A recent report from CarsDirect, citing the automaker's 2019 order guide, pegs it as discontinued after the 2019 model year, with production set to end in April this year.
Meanwhile, the Versa sedan looks safe for at least another one or two model years. The Versa Note is one step above the sedan in price, starting at $16,535, including the destination fee. Nissan prices the sedan at $13,245. Both these cars are aimed at folks looking to buy a new car for the cheapest amount possible. Compared to the previous six years, Versa sales dropped substantially in 2018. Nissan doesn't report Versa sedan and Versa Note sales separately, so we don't know the split, but 2018 saw 75,809 Versas find new homes. This was the worst full year of sales ever, signaling some amount of dissatisfaction with the small car — Nissan has sold more than or just about 100,000 Versas every year since 2010.

They are prepared to run a full season in a competitive car, and they even set the fastest time in their class at the pre-season Roar Before the 24 test. The only difference between this team and any other is that its drivers happen to be women. We went to Daytona to talk to them about their journey to the race.
