There is a large constituency of people who do not like — hate, even — Lexus' signature spindle grille. But Lexus likes it, A LOT. So much so, that the company included the spindle design into its newest conceptual design study, the Lexus QZ 618 Galactic Enforcer Jet that will appear in "Men in Black: International."
The two official trailers for the upcoming MIB reboot revealed that Lexus had a hand in the films. In the second, we even see a Lexus RC F transforming into an aircraft, a call back to Will Smith's and Tommy Lee Jones' flying car in the original. But this is the first full look at the fictional vehicle, which will be used by Tessa Thompson and Chris Hemsworth.
Honda has a long history of producing pint-sized fun, particularly on two wheels – the original Monkey Bike and Super Cub come to mind – and the Grom is no exception. The 125cc single-cylinder mini motorcycle is as charming as it is entertaining. The only significant thing missing from the Grom is utility, so a company called Industrial Moto LLC built a multi-purpose sidecar to round out the package.
Started in 2011, Industrial Moto is a Virginia-based motorcycle shop that specializes in custom vintage builds, particularly cafe racers. But the build with the Grom was a little different. In an email, Industrial Moto owner Tyler Haynes said the goal was to build a versatile sidecar to match the customized 2018 MSX 125.
Hundreds of thousands of Korean families have lived in Japan for generations, but some Japanese say they know little about their history.
To help shed some light, a group of university students in Tokyo held a film festival, putting Korea at center stage.
18 films were shown at the weeklong festival organized by students at Nihon University College of Art.
One depicts a North Korean resettlement program that led about 100,000 Koreans to leave Japan for the North.
The decades-old program referred to Pyongyang as "paradise on earth."
Using a video game as a feeder racing series is nothing new. Sony and Nissan have run the GT Academy for years now, rewarding the best Gran Turismo players with the chance to drive a real car. It seems Mazda wants a piece of the action. This year, it will host an iRacing Hot Lap Challenge, giving the best players a trip to the 2019 Rolex 24 at Daytona. The two fastest drivers will race head-to-head, with the winner earning a test drive in a Mazda MX-5 Miata Cup car.
During 2018, Mazda will host events events at select races where participants can lap Daytona in an iRacing simulator. Those who can't attend one of those events will have the chance to compete on iRacing at home. At the end of the year, 35 drivers will compete for a trip to the 2019 race. That winner will be a guest of Mazda Team Joest.
How much do you value the third generation Toyota Supra? Enough to pay around £9,000 ($11,645) at an auction for a good example?
If so, then you should book a hotel room, and a flight, to The Warwickshire Exhibition Center, near Leamington, Spa, UK, for September 23, when this example will go under the hammer at ClassicCarAuctions.
