Make that four engines in the standard Porsche Cayenne Coupe range. When we wrote about the rumored GT version of the Cayenne Coupe, perhaps called GT5, we mentioned the coming E-Hybrid powertrain as the third engine for the Cayenne Coupe. Porsche just unveiled a Cayenne S Coupe, using the same 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 in the standard Cayenne S. Power figures make the jump nearly unchanged to the rakish sibling, being 434 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque — one fewer pound-foot than in the Cayenne S.
Since the Cayenne S Coupe comes standard with the Sport Chrono package, the hump from zero to 60 miles per hour takes 4.7 seconds. That is 0.1 second slower than the Cayenne S with the Sport Chrono goodies. Apparently that one supplemental unit of torque comes in more handy than we thought. You need to add any of the three Lightweight Sport Packages to the Cayenne S Coupe to match the 4.6-second sprint time. Those Lightweight options add cosmetic upgrades in various materials and colors outside and in, a carbon fiber roof, and 22-inch forged aluminum GT Design wheels. Top speed is 164 miles per hour.
There isn't a whole lot that's new for the Nissan Rogue Sport for the 2019 model year (a light refresh is coming for 2020). But Nissan's two-pronged Rogue strategy (the automaker bundles both the subcompact Rogue Sport and compact Rogue into the same sales figure each month) continues to be popular with consumers. In fact, the dual-headed Rogue ranks as the fourth-best-selling nameplate in America so far in 2019, sitting behind nothing but the Big Three's full-size pickup trucks.
Three trim levels are available — S, SV, and SL. All Rogue Sports are powered by the same 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that sends 141 horsepower and 147 pound-feet of torque to either the front or optionally all four wheels through a continuously variable transmission.
NHK has learned that former Nissan Motor Chairman Carlos Ghosn paid nearly 50 million dollars to two Nissan dealers in the Middle East from the automaker's CEO reserve, which Ghosn could use at his discretion.
Ghosn has been detained since November, when he was arrested on suspicion of understating his executive compensation in Nissan securities reports.
The 2018 Lexus LX 570 Superior special edition was recently on display at the Chengdu Auto Show in China — from xCar:
The special edition is a standard LX equipped with the new TRD Japan body kit, and is currently confirmed for the Middle East, Russia, and China — here are some additional photos snapped by the infamous Instagrammer Hamad1two3 in the Middle East:
According to Indians Auto Blog, Russia and the Middle East will be offering the Lexus LX 570 with the newly released body kit from TRD Japan as a special edition available in dealerships.
Russia will market the body-kitted SUV as the LX 570 Superior, while the Middle East will use LX 570S as their special edition moniker. No word yet on pricing.
Lexus is getting ready to introduce a new 2018 version of the LX 570 in Russia and the Middle East called ‘Superior’ and the first grainy pics of it somehow found their way online ahead of its reveal.
The new Superior version –to be called the LX 570S in the Middle East- will be part of a subtle MY2018 update to the big Lexus truck, which remains one of the last body-on-frame luxury off-roaders available in the market.
